From b0f978e1dba22845f4ea68f7b544a050ca269b1b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Mikhail Bobkov Date: Thu, 24 Sep 2026 18:27:53 +0400 Subject: [PATCH] Add missing libldap2-dev/libsasl2-dev to Ubuntu package list MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit conf/requirements.txt requires django-auth-ldap/python-ldap (added in #600), which needs libldap2-dev and libsasl2-dev headers to build its C extension. The Debian branch's PACKAGES list already has both, but the Ubuntu branch was never updated to match, so a fresh install on Ubuntu fails to build python-ldap's wheel, which aborts the entire `pip install -r requirements.txt` — Django itself never gets installed, and the app fails to start. Verified fix on a real Ubuntu 24.04 host. --- webvirtcloud.sh | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/webvirtcloud.sh b/webvirtcloud.sh index 0fb1482..a30276f 100755 --- a/webvirtcloud.sh +++ b/webvirtcloud.sh @@ -548,7 +548,7 @@ case $distro in progress echo "* Installing OS requirements." - PACKAGES="git virtualenv python3-virtualenv python3-pip python3-dev python3-lxml libvirt-dev zlib1g-dev libxslt1-dev nginx libsasl2-modules gcc pkg-config python3-guestfs" + PACKAGES="git virtualenv python3-virtualenv python3-pip python3-dev python3-lxml libvirt-dev zlib1g-dev libxslt1-dev libsasl2-dev libldap2-dev nginx libsasl2-modules gcc pkg-config python3-guestfs" install_packages set_hosts
